Where we manufacture
Our address is Ubrique, Cádiz, Andalucía, Spain. Manufacturing is not subcontracted to another region: leather goods are developed and produced in our own atelier in Ubrique, and finished pieces are shipped from there to brands internationally.
Brand partners are welcome to visit the atelier by appointment.
Ubrique and leather goods manufacturing
Ubrique is a town in the Sierra de Cádiz known for leather goods manufacturing, with a concentration of workshops and skills built around the trade. That local ecosystem is why the town remains a reference point for brands sourcing leather goods in Spain.
L'Artisan works within that tradition. The skills we rely on — pattern making, cutting, edge finishing, assembly — come from this manufacturing culture, and the atelier has trained and employed people from it since 1972.
A family atelier, since 1972
The company was founded in 1972 as a family workshop and is now run by the second generation. Over that time it has moved from workshop production to serving premium and luxury brands with full development and manufacturing services, without relocating from Ubrique.
